Giveaway! The Children's Place winter collection

Hi readers!  Long time no blog.  I started a new full time job a few months ago, which has been an interesting new experience full of ups and downs.  But I'll save all my thoughts on that for another post.

Today I get to offer one lucky reader a Christmas gift!  I'm giving away a $25 gift card to The Children's Place.  You longtime readers know that it is one of my favorite spots to buy children's apparel.  Their clothing is stylish, affordable, and high quality.  Their winter collection this year is no exception.  Here are just a few of my favorites that I found on my last shopping trip:

The pattern on this sweet little fleece jacket called to me from across the store!

I love the neon laces on these high top sneakers.  Such a fun trend!

By far my most favorite find was the matching Christmas pajamas that I got for Bear and Adric to wear on Christmas Eve this year.  They had several patterns and styles to choose from, but these were my favorite:
I think one of the rewards of motherhood is getting to dress your kids in matching outfits.  Does your family get new pajamas on Christmas Eve?  I know it's a popular tradition and we're trying it for the first time this year.  I'm so excited to see them in these cute little sleepers!  Okay, I'll admit, I already let Adric wear his on our road trip up to Atlanta a few days ago:

Now how cute is that??

If you'd like to win a $25 gift card to The Children's Place, there are a few ways you can enter:
- Everyone gets one free entry. Just leave a comment telling me how you plan to celebrate Christmas this year! Be sure that your comment profile links back to a way of contacting you, or include an email address in the comment itself. Anonymous entries will be omitted.

- Tweet a link to this post and use the hashtag #PlaceHoliday for an extra entry (leave an extra comment with a link to the tweet)
- Follow Mrs. Potts' Thoughts using the Google Friend Connect button to the right for an extra entry (leave an extra comment)

I'll leave this giveaway open until midnight EST on New Year's Eve! I'll select the winner using random.org and announce the winner on New Year's Day. Good luck to you all!

(Disclosure: The Children's Place provided the gift card for this giveaway at no cost to me and has provided me with a gift card for my review. All opinions are my own.)

Lolliposh Fall Sale

It's time for another Lolliposh consignment sale!  I've blogged about Lolliposh before, and it continues to be the best sale in the area for children's items.  Here are some of the things I've scored at past Lolliposh sales... you can decide if you think they were great deals. (I think so.)  All of these items were in like-new condition when I bought them.

Price I paid at Lolliposh: $1.50
Medela Pump-In-Style
Price at a big box store: $269.99

bebePOD Baby Floor Seat
Price at a big box store: $32.98
Price I paid at Lolliposh: $7.00

I have also purchased numerous items of name brand clothing for $1.00-$4.00 per piece, and several other books and toys for fantastic prices, too many to list!  You can find nearly any baby- or kid-related items at Lolliposh and they are all in new or gently-used condition.  I've also had success as a consignor - it is fun to make money on the items that we don't need or use anymore!  I also love shopping at Lolliposh for altruistic reasons - when I shop at Lolliposh I am supporting other parents like me.  I am helping kids get dance lessons or team jerseys, I am helping parents put food on the table, I am helping families pay their mortgage.  There's a great sense of community at this sale.  It's also living green to buy things used instead of new, and honestly, the things I buy are in such great condition that we never notice a difference.

Lolliposh is THIS WEEKEND at the Soref JCC in Plantation, FL.  See the full event schedule here, follow them on facebook here, and follow them on twitter here.

I've got extra passes to the presale this Thursday so if you'd like one, shoot me an email!
